Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting professional Armed Security Officers with excellent customer service and security skills. The Armed Security Rover provides mobile security coverage across multiple locations, helping protect people, property, and assets through a highly visible and professional security presence.

POSITION OVERVIEW

As an Armed Security Rover, you will provide mobile security coverage at multiple assigned locations. You will conduct regular and random patrols, respond to security-related concerns, identify potential hazards or unusual activity, and help maintain a safe and secure environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain a highly visible security presence to help prevent and deter criminal activity
  • Monitor properties, parking areas, buildings, and surrounding areas
  • Report security-related incidents, hazards, suspicious activity, and unusual occurrences
  • Respond appropriately to alarms, emergencies, and other security concerns
  • Perform access control and other site procedures when required
  • Investigate and document property breaches or disturbances
  • Complete daily activity reports and incident reports
  • Communicate effectively
  • Follow all IPSC policies, client procedures, and applicable laws and regulations
  • Safely carry and use a firearm in accordance with applicable licensing requirements, company policy, and training
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to pass required background screening drug screening

Prior law enforcement, military, corrections, security, or related experience is a plus.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, particularly during emergencies
  • Ability to read and interpret written information in a variety of situations
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle during the course of assigned duties
  • Ability to detect and identify alarms, emergency signals, and persons in distress in a variety of environments
  • Ability to walk, run, stand, climb, sit, and perform routine patrol activities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds if required
  • Ability to remain alert and attentive throughout the assigned shift
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make timely decisions during emergencies
  • Ability to meet applicable physical and mental requirements for state security licensing
  • Ability to safely perform the essential functions of an Armed Security Officer position
