Is being an armed security guard worth it?

Armed security guards typically earn higher wages than unarmed guards due to the added responsibility and training requirements, such as firearm certification. The job can be physically demanding and may involve working irregular hours or in high-risk environments, but it offers opportunities for advancement and skill development in security protocols and emergency response.

What armed security jobs pay the most?

Armed security jobs that typically pay the highest wages include positions such as executive protection agents, security consultants, and specialized tactical security officers.
