Job Details
As an Armed Security Officer, you will monitor entrances, complete patrols, assist visitors, and respond to any safety concerns on site. You'll help maintain a secure environment by staying alert, following post orders, and documenting important activity throughout your shift.
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Conduct armed interior/exterior patrols and monitor all entrances, exits, and access points.
  • Maintain weapon readiness and follow all firearm safety protocols
  • Observe and report hazards or suspicious activity and complete daily logs and incident reports.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies following site procedures
  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times

REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to obtain Armed Security License as required by state with 2 years Armed Security experience OR have prior Military, Law Enforcement, or Corrections experience
  • Must be able to obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certification
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening, driving record check, and background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be over 21 years old
  • Proficient English language communication, reading, and writing skills
  • Able to meet all physical demands, including occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs.), and performing tasks such as bending, climbing, running, walking, and standing for long periods of time as needed
