Job at a Glance 

Title: Job Network Engineer (Cisco, Arista, Juniper) III 
Location: Mount Laurel, NJ 
Contract: W2 only, 6-month contract with potential for extension or conversion to full time with either the client or CEI 
Pay: $50/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match 

Overview 

Hands-on IP router/switch/telephony customer premises equipment role focused on designing, configuring, and deploying LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software, and communication links and services. The position includes optimizing network and system services, troubleshooting performance issues, and providing service provision and monitoring of the network infrastructure to company standards. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Hands-on IP router/switch/telephony customer premises equipment 

  • Design, configure and deploy LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software and communication links and services 

  • Optimize the network and systems services and troubleshoot any network performance issues 

  • Responsible for the service provision and monitoring of the network infrastructure to company standards 

Required Skills 

  • Specific knowledge and 5 to 8 years experience with Cisco and Juniper routers 

  • Strong knowledge of internetworking designs and their applications and routing 

  • Solid knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies 

  • 5 to 8 years Experience with protocols 

  • Firewall experience with firewalls such as (Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX, Checkpoint NG etc.) 

  • Extensive experience with Cisco switches and routers 

  • Certifications such as (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE)
