Position Description

This position serves as a key contributor in shaping the real estate team's strategies. This role requires advanced analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage high complexity projects across diverse property types and investment structures. In addition to providing in depth analysis, the Lead works closely with leadership, influences decision making, and serves as an informal mentor to peers and junior analysts. The position demands specialized knowledge in real estate investments, financial structuring, and market dynamics, ensuring the real estate team continues to drive long term value creation.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with managers and directors to evaluate portfolio performance, capital allocation, and new investment opportunities, offering strategic recommendationsย 
  • Lead advanced financial analysis, including dynamic modeling of property level, fund level, and structured cash flows ย 
  • Manage complex assignments such as large-scale transactions, multi-asset portfolio reviews, and high visibility capital eventsย 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in specialized areas of real estate management and investmentsย 
  • Collaborate directly with leadership to influence strategic initiatives and process improvementsย 
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts, promoting knowledge sharing and professional development within the real estate teamย 
  • Conduct deep dive market research, develop investment theses, and present findings to senior leadership and investment committees
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual reporting by creating complex valuation and cash flow analyses into reports as insight for the executive teamย 
  • Enhance portfolio management reporting tools, ensuring accuracy for decision makingย 
  • Support strategic projects requiring collaboration across departmentsย 
  • Lead knowledge sharing initiatives, including training sessions, documentation, and best practices ย 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or related field required; Master's degree or relevant certification (ARGUS) strongly preferredย 
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in real estate investments, asset management, or related fields
  • Advanced knowledge of real estate investment structures, including joint ventures, fund level reporting, and complex financingย 
  • Expertise in dynamic modeling and valuation of diverse property typesย 
  • Strong understanding of commercial leases and capital marketsย 
  • High proficiency with Excel, ARGUS, CoStar and other real estate analysis toolsย 
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence leadership and present to executive audiencesย 
  • Proven ability to mentor and coach peers and junior team membersย 
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to navigate ambiguity and solve complex problemsย
