Position Summary

Benchmark International Arena is seeking a Data Analytics Coordinator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director of Data Analytics, this part-time position will support the organization's data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence functions. The Data Analytics Coordinator will assist with collecting, organizing, analyzing, and reporting operational, financial, and business data across the arena. This position will help ensure that accurate and timely data is available to leadership and operational teams to support informed decision-making. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with data from multiple sources. This role will work collaboratively with internal departments to identify data needs, maintain reporting accuracy, prepare recurring reports, and assist with dashboards and analytical projects.

This role pays an hourly rate of $25.00 - $26.90

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Data Analytics with the collection, organization, validation, and analysis of operational, financial, and business data.
  • Prepare recurring reports, spreadsheets, dashboards, and presentations to support leadership and operational decision-making.
  • Maintain and update reporting files, databases, dashboards, and other analytics resources to ensure information remains accurate and current.
  • Compile data from multiple sources and identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of interactive dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Support the preparation of weekly, monthly, and event-specific analytics and performance reports.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure analytics meet business needs.
  • Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and identifying trends that may impact revenue, profitability, operational efficiency, and the fan experience.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of reports.
  • Assist with data entry, data cleanup, reconciliation, and documentation of reporting processes.
  • Support analytical projects involving arena operations, Food & Beverage, events, attendance, revenue, labor, and other business functions as assigned.
  • Assist with identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and increase efficiency through automation and improved data practices.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear and understandable reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the corporate analytics team and internal departments as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of business, financial, employee, and operational data.
  • Perform other duties and analytical projects as assigned by the Director of Data Analytics.
Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • 1-2+ years of experience working with data, reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in a sports, entertainment, hospitality, Food & Beverage, or event-based environment is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data organization, and reporting.
  • Experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools such as Power BI preferred.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies or inconsistencies in data.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate data and analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality when working with sensitive business and financial information.
  • Ability to work independently while also taking direction from the Director of Data Analytics.
