Job Summary

Help deliver a premium hospitality experience at the Delta Center!

As a Group Sales Server, you will support the Premium team by providing friendly, attentive, and professional service to guests in one of the Delta Center's premium club spaces. This position is responsible for greeting guests, taking beverage orders, making sales, serving orders promptly, maintaining clean service areas, and helping create a welcoming and memorable guest experience.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, providing excellent service, and staying active in a fast-paced event environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Model and promote Levy's Family Values: Nice, Innovative, Passionate, and Inclusive.
  • Warmly greet guests and provide friendly, professional, and attentive service.
  • Take accurate beverage orders and communicate orders clearly to bar staff.
  • Serve orders promptly, safely, and professionally.
  • Check on guests throughout service to ensure satisfaction.
  • Make sales and upsell bar beverages when appropriate.
  • Answer guest questions and handle special requests, concerns, and inquiries courteously.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, service stations, and guest-facing spaces.
  • Collaborate with bartenders, bussers, line attendants, managers, and other team members to ensure smooth service.
  • Follow all Levy, Delta Center, food-safety, sanitation, responsible alcohol-service, and workplace-safety standards.
  • Learn menu items, beverage offerings, club procedures, and service expectations.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude throughout each event.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned based on event and department needs.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Previous server, hospitality, restaurant, bar, or customer-service experience is preferred but not required.
  • Friendly, attentive, professional, and guest-focused attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to make sales or upsell beverage items when applicable.
  • Knowledge of food-safety and sanitation standards is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn menu items, beverage offerings, and club procedures.
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance and demeanor.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays with moderate loads, including five or more drinks.
  • Ability to work a flexible event-based schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah Food Handler Permit.
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid Utah On-Premise Alcohol Certificate.
