About the Role:

The Manager, Consumer (B2C) Ticket Sales is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing sales team focused on driving revenue through individual ticket products, including Season Seats and Partial Plans for the Edmonton Oilers and Edmonton Oil Kings.

This role is accountable for executing high-volume sales strategies, optimizing inbound and outbound sales channels, and building a structured, performance-driven environment that maximizes activity, conversion and overall revenue.

Your Focus in this Role:

  • Lead, coach, and develop two teams of Consumer Ticket Sales Account Executives (Oilers and Oil Kings)
  • Drive team performance against revenue targets, conversion rates, and activity KPIs
  • Oversee inbound and outbound sales efforts across Season Seats and Partial Plans
  • Establish and reinforce a structured sales process focused on efficiency and conversion
  • Conduct regular 1:1 coaching sessions, call reviews and performance evaluations
  • Monitor sales funnels, lead flow and conversion metrics to identify optimization opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing to align campaigns and lead generation strategies
  • Ensure strong utilization and accuracy within CRM systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales scripts, training programs and customer experience
  • Foster a high-energy, competitive and team-oriented sales culture
  • Attend Oilers and Oil Kings games to assist with in-game activations, customer visits and manager-on-duty responsibilities

    • Experience in sports, entertainment, or hospitality sales is an asset
    • Strong leadership presence and ability to motivate high-activity sales teams
    • Comfortable managing high volumes of leads and fast sales cycles
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • High level of accountability and ownership
