Field Training Coach

The Field Training Coach plays a key role in developing talent, accelerating performance, and enabling operational excellence across a defined market. This role designs and delivers field-facing training programs, supports leadership development, and ensures consistency in execution across restaurants. The Field Training Coach works closely with Operations and cross-functional partners to bridge strategy and execution, drive growth in high-potential markets, and ensure successful new restaurant openings.

What You'll Do:

You will implement and evaluate emerging talent programs to cultivate future field leaders and strengthen leadership succession planning.

You will deliver leadership and operational training strategies that enhance performance and support expansion in high-growth markets.

You will partner with the New Restaurant Opening (NRO) team to support the training of restaurant leaders and certify New Training Restaurants to ensure smooth and successful restaurant launches.

You will translate learning and development strategies into field-level practices that directly impact performance.

You will identify, coach, and grow internal talent to strengthen CAVA's leadership pipeline.

You will provide targeted training to help teams adapt and succeed in fast-growing and rapidly evolving markets.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to support new restaurant openings and ensure consistency in execution.

You will uphold brand and training standards through in-field coaching, certifications, and feedback.

You will model and promote CAVA's values and culture in all aspects of training and leadership development.

You will provide actionable field insights to improve training programs and influence broader operational effectiveness.

The Qualifications:

5+ years of leadership experience in restaurant operations, training, or multi-unit support.

Proven experience facilitating training programs and coaching frontline leaders.

Strong understanding of restaurant operations, leadership development, and talent pipelines.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to travel frequently across markets to support training needs.

Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and Learning & Development.

Passion for developing people and driving growth through capability-building.

Proven experience supporting new restaurant openings, operational roll outs, and change management initiatives.

High-energy, approachable, and engaging leader with a positive attitude, collaborative mindset and the ability to build strong relationships while creating fun, motivating learning environment.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment

Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details

For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds

Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively

Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable

Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
