Aztec Rental has been serving the Houston area since 1966. We are a family-owned, independent equipment rental company known for dependable equipment, knowledgeable employees, and taking care of our customers.

We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join our team and become an important part of our day-to-day customer operation. This is a hands-on sales and customer service position where you will work directly with contractors, businesses, and homeowners to help them find the right equipment for their jobs.

If you enjoy working with people, solving problems, and turning customer inquiries into sales, this could be a great opportunity to build a long-term career with an established local company.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Answer incoming phone calls, emails, and walk-in customer inquiries
  • Help customers determine what equipment best fits their job or project
  • Provide rental and sales quotes and follow up with customers
  • Process rental contracts, sales transactions, and related paperwork
  • Develop relationships with customers and encourage repeat business
  • Follow up on leads and open quotes to help generate additional sales
  • Coordinate with our yard and operations team to make sure equipment is available and ready
  • Work with customers to resolve questions or issues quickly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate customer and rental information
  • Work as part of a team to provide a consistently high level of customer service


What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is dependable, motivated, personable, and comfortable talking with customers.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous sales, customer service, equipment rental, construction, or related experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to ask questions, understand customer needs, and recommend solutions
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple customers and tasks in a busy environment
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • A strong sense of urgency and follow-through
  • The ability to work independently while also being a team player
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior Rental experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred
