    The Positionย Theย Retail Stock Personย is responsible for assisting the retail team by moving furniture on and off the sales floor, preparing merchandise for delivery and customer pickup, maintaining inventory organization, and ensuring the showroom remains clean and presentable.ย Key Responsibilities
    • Build and maintain an understanding of store products and pricing information to support inventory and stock levels
    • Remove sold merchandise from the sales floor and prepare it for customer pickup or delivery
    • Pull and stage furniture and merchandise for scheduled deliveries
    • Pull and stage merchandise for customer pickups and assist customers as directed
    • Utilize proper material handling procedures to reduce injury and prevent product damage
    • Move inventory and merchandise as directed by management to maintain an attractive showroom appearance
    • Assemble and disassemble furniture as directed by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager
    • Maintain a neat, organized, and safe sales floor and stock area
    • Clean and touch up furniture and merchandise displayed on the sales floor
    • Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms and interior/exterior common areas
    • Report theft, suspected theft, or other security concerns to management immediately

    Qualificationsย Education

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required
    Experience
    • Prior retail, warehouse, stock, or sales experience is helpful but not required
