Senior Project Manager / Project Manager – Design
Chicagoland Area – Fully Onsite
$125–175K (Depending on Experience) – Full Time with Benefits

Chin) is seeking a dedicated Project Manager - Design to join our Design group working on projects in the public transportation, IDOT, and Tollway roadway sectors. The ideal candidate is highly effective at communicating, self-organization, and willing to learn in a supportive team environment.
Job Duties:
  • Lead and manage project teams on a variety of roadway and infrastructure projects, while mentoring and developing junior staff.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including networking, proposal writing, and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on large- scale transportation projects.
  • Perform engineering design tasks and prepare plans, specifications, reports, and other engineering documents.
  • Conduct QA/QC checks.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from an accredited university.
  • The qualified candidate will have a minimum of 7-10+ years’ experience in civil/transportation/roadway design.
  • Must have a Professional Engineer (PE) License.
  • Proficient in Bentley Suite products (Microstation/GeoPak/PowerCivil/InRoads/OpenRoads Designer).
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite products (Excel, Word)
  • Experience on roadway design and plan preparation for IDOT, ISTHA, CDOT, and Counties.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in construction a plus.
  • Experience in permitting and utility coordination a plus.
