Position Overview

The Area Operations Manager maintains consistent standards and effective day-to-day operations across assigned locations. Working closely with venue teams and operations leadership, this role supports team performance, addresses service and staffing needs and sees issues through to resolution. The ideal candidate is a confident, hands-on leader who can balance immediate priorities with longer-term improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations across assigned locations and maintain an active presence during key service periods.
  • Reinforce standards for venue readiness, service execution, team conduct and guest care.
  • Review staffing and schedules and support hiring, onboarding, training, coaching and performance feedback.
  • Monitor labor, sales, food cost, guest feedback and recurring service issues and work with teams to address concerns.
  • Coordinate chefs and service teams on timing, allergies and special requests and handle escalated guest or employee matters.
  • Monitor inventory, supplies, repairs and maintenance and ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation requirements.
  • Maintain clear communication with venue teams and operations leadership.
  • Support openings, special events and company projects and travel among assigned locations as needed.
  • Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a finedining or upscale restaurant environment, including supervisory or management experience.
  • Multilocation restaurant experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of front and backofhouse operations and elevated service standards.
  • Experience with staffing, scheduling, training, labor management and inventory controls.
  • Clear communication, sound judgment and ability to coach and direct team members effectively.
  • Organized, selfdirected and able to balance priorities and follow through consistently.
  • Confident guest presence and ability to manage sensitive situations professionally.
  • Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays and travel among assigned locations as needed.
