Job description

ACCOUNTANT

Mercer County Area Agency on Aging, Inc., a non-profit corporation responsible for assisting individuals age 60 and older with accessing and obtaining essential services, is looking for an Accountant to provide professional accounting work, analysis and financial reporting of overall Agency operations. Work is under the guidance of the Chief Fiscal Officer.

A successful candidate must have a degree from a four-year college or university in accounting or related field, or a degree with at least fifteen credits in accounting and one year of professional accounting experience. Specialized training and five years of experience in governmental or public accounting may be substituted for a college degree. Two years of professional accounting experience or any acceptable combination of training and experience.

Must be able to complete accurate, thorough, and timely financial reporting. Attention to detail is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Wage: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
