Job description

Five Rivers Analytics, an Akima company, is looking for a Project Manager to support our mission in Kirtland Airforce Base, NM. To plans, directs, and oversees contract performance for mission-support operations at Kirtland AFB. Serves as the primary interface with the customer and corporate leadership; manages staffing, schedule, cost, risk, quality, deliverables, and subcontractor coordination; monitors performance metrics and compliance; resolves operational issues; and ensures contractual requirements are met safely, securely, and on schedule. Responsibilities * Manages the day-to-day activities for a moderately complex Technical or non-Technical project. * Manages the administrative/operational leadership of a project within the program guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer. * Monitors project to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and maintained. * Provides the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensures all necessary reviews and approvals are received. * May conduct performance/project analyses to benefit future/other projects/missions/programs. * Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles. * Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions. * Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, strategic plans, or policies. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
* 8 years of experience including 3 years leading technical or mission-support teams
