About the client

An architectural firm with multiple offices & projects across Canada, is passively seeking a Technologist, Architectural Designer or Architect for their London Ontario office. ONLY CANDIDATES WITH PREVIOUS OR CURRENT TIES TO LONDON ONTARIO AREA - WITHIN 2 HOURS - WILL BE CONSIDERED. You have strong Revit skills to work on mid-sized community-based projects such as schools, long term care, senior homes, clinical labs and community centers.
What they are looking for

  • Candidates with local ties - family or relatives - in the greater London Ontario area
  • 5+ five years of post graduate experience; Architectural Technologist or Bachelor of Architecture credentials; 3+ in mid-sized projects ranging from $10~120 million dollars
  • Experience designing schools, community centers, long-term care, or clinics; community-based projects; portfolio of demonstrated skills required
  • Solid Revit skills and knowledge of Ontario or Canadian build codes; solid building science fundamentals
  • Ability to produce a set of high-quality drawings in Revit; details and documentation that are clear, accurate, comprehensive and consistent
  • Strong spoken and written English skills; ability to collaborate well with employees and external stakeholders
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and project management software
  • A desire to grow professionally and work with multiple stakeholders
