You will lead the end-to-end design process-from strategic discovery and framing to development, launch, and iteration. The ideal candidate grounds decisions in deep customer empathy, translates ambiguity into clear direction, and partners cross-functionally to drive meaningful outcomes.

What you'll do
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define and execute on experience design strategy and success metrics, using research and insights to prioritize what matters most to customers and the business.

  • Design seamless, end-to-end experiences across firm growth, case management, and financial reporting workflows.

  • Create actionable insights that unlock the power of data, delivering strategic and operational improvements to law firms.

  • Translate complex data relationships and legal domain logic into clear, scalable UI patterns for firms of all sizes.

  • Experience designing AI-powered features or workflows, with a strong understanding of user-centered applications of machine learning and generative AI.

  • Shape feature-decisions through research and prototyping, partnering closely with product and engineering

  • Build strong customer intuition through direct engagement, and advocate for customer needs in trade-offs, sequencing, and cross-functional decision-making.

  • Raise the quality bar through polished, accessible, and cohesive experiences - and push beyond "good enough" toward best-in-class interaction design.

  • Drive alignment through crisp storytelling, clear decision framing, and proactive collaboration across cross-functional teams.

What you bring
  • 6+ years of experience designing digital products, B2B SaaS experience is preferred, but not required.

  • A strong portfolio showcasing data-heavy products, such as dashboards and analytics tools, where surfacing timely information is key.

  • The ability to simplify complex domain logic into intuitive interfaces for non-technical users.

  • Experience partnering with data and platform teams where structural and performance constraints are central to design.

  • Expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and visual design with a track record of high-quality execution.

  • A customer-centric approach with the ability to translate insights into actionable, strategic design directions.

  • Highly capable in design and prototyping tools and solid use of AI tools in your process (e.g., Figma Make, Claude, Gemini, etc.)

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including clear articulation of rationale and trade-offs.
