Vizmeg Landscape is a growing, locally rooted landscape company serving Northeast Ohio. Our success is driven by skilled people in the field and strong support from the office. We are seeking a talented Residential Landscape Designer who is driven and capable of assisting senior staff in landscape design, estimating, and managing projects from lead to completion. This is an in-person position based in Stow, Ohio.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Interface with sales and project managers and assist with any stage of a project quickly, efficiently, and effectively.
  • Accurately locate existing elements such as residences, walls, walkways, driveways, trees, etc.
  • Clearly define property lines, setbacks, utilities, and other relevant features.
  • Assist in design development and sales/presentation drawings for residential and commercial properties.
  • Compile accurate information for project estimating and assist sales and project managers with estimation.
  • Creation of detailed construction drawings: Hardscape layout plans, detail plans, planting plans, and lighting and irrigation plans.
  • Engage with team members and bring new ideas to the table.

What you need to succeed:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of landscape design experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Vectorworks or AutoCAD with the ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Experience with presentation software such as Photoshop, Sketchup, Lumion, and hand rendering
  • Ability to translate comments, redlines, and sketches into working drawings/documents
  • Ability to produce accurate take-offs for related designs
  • Skillful with construction drawings, including construction detailing, dimensioned layouts, and grading plans
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or similar
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and written skills
