Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Cabinet and Millwork Project Manager to oversee custom cabinetry and architectural millwork projects from award through installation. This role is responsible for managing schedules, budgets, production coordination, and on-site execution to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all phases of cabinet and millwork projects, from contract award to final closeout
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and contracts for scope and accuracy
• Coordinate with designers, architects, general contractors, and internal production teams
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and material takeoffs
• Oversee submittals, approvals, and change orders
• Coordinate procurement of materials, hardware, and finishes
• Conduct job site visits to monitor installation progress and quality
• Resolve field issues, discrepancies, and conflicts proactively
• Track project costs and profitability; report on project status regularly
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and company procedures
• Manage punch lists and project closeout documentation
Qualifications
• 3–7+ years of experience in cabinet and millwork project management (custom or commercial preferred)
• Strong understanding of woodworking, cabinetry construction, materials, and finishes
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and shop drawings
• Experience working with commercial construction teams and job sites
• Proficiency in project management software, spreadsheets, and scheduling tools
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and deadlines
Preferred Skills
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microvellum, Cabinet Vision, or similar software
• Experience in AIA Billing
• Experience with Textura Payment Management system
• Experience with Procure 
• Knowledge of commercial construction processes and timelines
• Familiarity with LEED or other sustainable building practices
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management is preferred but not required.
Work Environment
• Combination of office, work from home, and job site work
• Occasional travel to job sites required
