We are seeking an Architectural Millwork Drafter to support our Casework and Millwork division in Oakdale, PA.
This role is responsible for producing clear, complete, and buildable shop drawings that support an efficient submittal process and successful project execution. You will work closely with Project Managers, production, and the broader drafting team to translate design intent into practical, fabrication-ready solutions.
What You Will Do
  • Develop detailed shop drawings for custom casework and architectural millwork
  • Translate architectural and interior design drawings into clear, consistent, fabrication-ready documents
  • Support the submittal process by producing drawings that are complete, accurate, and aligned with project scope
  • Coordinate with Project Managers to meet submittal schedules and address drawing priorities
  • Review your work for buildability, clarity, and alignment with project requirements
  • Identify inconsistencies, missing information, or potential issues and proactively escalate for resolution
  • Revise drawings based on internal review, client feedback, and field conditions
  • Collaborate with shop and production teams to resolve technical challenges during fabrication
  • Produce assembly drawings, part drawings, and CNC-ready detailing as required
  • Maintain organized drawing logs and revision control throughout the project lifecycle

What You Will Need to Be Successful
  • Experience in architectural millwork, casework, or custom fabrication drafting
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar drafting software)
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications with a high level of detail
  • Understanding and application of practical build methods, not just drawing replication
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
  • Ability to work collaboratively across project management, engineering, and production teams
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify and help resolve drawing challenges
  • Experience with millwork-specific software (AlphaCam, Cabinet Vision, etc.) is a plus
  • Experience with Innergy ERP software is a plus
