Attention all Marketing Professionals
Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, PLLC is currently seeking a motivated professional to join our Marketing Department in Columbia, SC as a Marketing Assistant responsible for preparing responses to Requests for Qualifications/Proposals. This individual must be detail oriented and able to lead pursuit teams in the development of responses with little supervision while ensuring accuracy, readability and overall quality.
Position Overview:
The Marketing Assistant provides vital support to the marketing and proposal team by assisting with document preparation, quality assurance, and the organization of marketing materials. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent writing and editing skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the proposal team with technical writing, editing, and proofreading to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Prepare standard marketing documents in conformance with Owner/Client specifications and company branding standards.
  • Enter and manage data across various internal systems to maintain up-to-date marketing and proposal information.
  • Maintain marketing collateral and supporting documents, including staff resumes, project profiles, Standard Form 330s, and boilerplate materials.
  • Review marketing materials for accuracy, completeness, and overall quality prior to submission or distribution.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing department, including front desk coverage and office assistance as needed.
  • Assist with promotional materials, event coordination, shipping, and production to support marketing and business development initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Requirements
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in an engineering, architecture, or construction (AEC) firm is desired.
  • Office work strongly preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US.
  • Must complete a pre-employment screening; ICE is a drug-free workplace.

Work Schedule
  • This is an on-site position that is full-time and is based on a 40-hour work week.
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday.
  • The office is open from 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Working Conditions and Physical Demands
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is routinely required to sit for an extended period at a computer workstation.
  • Hand and eye coordination is adequate for computer data entry.
  • Visually observe and differentiate details and colors of objects.
  • Light, infrequent travel may be required.
  • May be required to lift 15 pounds (packages, promotional materials, etc.).

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required.
