Job description

Dorsky + Yue Architecture is seeking an Architectural Designer with over 2 years of professional experience for an immediate position in our new office in Plantation.

As a firm with a diverse portfolio, project assignments could range from mid-rise to high-rise residential, commercial retail, hospitality, office, and mixed-use developments. Responsibilities will vary based on project needs, skills, and experience, but our approach is one that values the continuity of a project team throughout design and documentation.

Responsibilities

· Develops architectural designs using Revit and AutoCAD

· Assists with the production and/or revision of the drawings, including program compliance; code and agency compliance

· Applies technical knowledge of building design and construction techniques to support projects

· Coordinates production-related tasks in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

· Works closely with project managers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve project goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
  • 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Technical skills including creating architectural design, details, and documents
  • Strong graphics and design skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
  • Experience with SketchUp and PhotoShop
