VCBO Architecture is seeking an Architectural Designer I to join our team. As an Architectural Designer I, you'll support projects through all phases of design and documentation while gaining hands-on experience in project coordination, construction documents, and design development. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development of design concepts, studies, and presentation materials.
  • Support the production of construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Create 3D models, renderings, and graphics to communicate design intent.
  • Conduct site analysis, code research, and material or product research.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, and project team members throughout project development.
  • Participate in project meetings and incorporate feedback into design revisions.
  • Maintain organized project files and follow firm drafting and documentation standards.
  • Demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • 0-3 years of professional experience in an architectural or design environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design software.
  • Basic understanding of building systems, construction documentation, and architectural standards.
  • Strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, receive feedback, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
