Job description

Interior Design firm is seeking an experienced design associate that will collaborate with senior designers to create design concepts based on client requirements and project parameters, including sourcing products, furniture, materials, finishes & color selections. Also overseeing installations to ensure the design vision is accurately implemented, while working closely with clients.

Job Requirements
  • Produce technical drawings including floor plans, elevation views, and detailed specifications.
  • Create accurate space planning layouts considering functionality and flow.
  • Prepare project documentation such as material selections and vendor lists.
  • Participate in client meetings to understand project goals and gather feedback.
  • Communicate design concepts and changes to clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Manage client expectations regarding budget and timeline.
  • Research and identify potential vendors for furniture, lighting, and other design elements.
  • Obtain quotes and manage product ordering to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with vendors to resolve any issues related to product quality or installation.
