Support our highly collaborative architectural design studio in a fully integrated A&E practice to meet our clientsโ€™ ever-changing needs and have a hand in transforming tomorrow. As an Architectural Design Technician within the Electronics Architectural Team in Tempe, Arizona, you will be an integral member of a highly creative, multi-disciplinary team dedicated to innovative problem-solving and design excellence. Working in fast-paced projects, you will collaborate with teammates based throughout the country and the world, harnessing their expertise and specializations. You will support the design and construction of facilities and structures for our clients requiring advanced planning and building techniques.

Working with our Semiconductor team of architects and designers, you will help develop technical design solutions and produce project drawings, specifications and models. Bring your creativity, ambitious spirit, and desire to bring value to your team, and weโ€™ll help you grow, pursue, and fulfill what drives you โ€“ so we can deliver extraordinary solutions for a better tomorrow, together.

This role is ideal for a technically strong architectural designer or BIM professional who enjoys translating design intent into detailed, coordinated construction documents

Duties and Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, perform all conventional aspects of architectural document production:

  • Develop Revit models, drawings, and documentation for complex building systems and layouts
  • Translate conceptual direction, sketches, and markups into detailed design deliverables
  • Manage and incorporate redlines and coordinate updates across disciplines.
  • Maintaining reliable work practices to meet schedule, budget, and qu ality requirements.
  • Highly proficient in self-checking work and coordinating with related disciplines to resolve design.
  • Proactively advancing workflows, systems, and tools, including design automation skills.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies.
  • Highly focused on quality, ensuring conformance with established architecture standards, project standards, and project delivery processes.
  • Able to provide quality reviews of models and documents prepared by others to ensure design and project standards are met.
  • Progressively increasing responsibilities include providing technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to less experienced architectural designers.
Hereโ€™s what youโ€™ll need Qualifications:
  • Minimum Associates [PA1] Degree in Architectural Design and Drafting or related degree
  • 4-10 years of Architectural design and production in a professional setting
  • Expertise [PA2] [BM3] within Revit Platform and applicable add-ons
  • Ability to ensure project deliverable quality and provide suggestions aimed at improving the effectiveness of project activities
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ideally, youโ€™ll also have:
  • Experience with Bluebeam, BIM Clash Management, and Navisworks
  • Exposure to clash detection and model coordination workflows
  • Experience with semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, or industrial facility design
  • Interest in design automation and emerging technologies
  • Ability to travel

The base salary range for this position is $66,000.00 to $90,800.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
