Job Description:

This position is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data infrastructure and integration solutions that enable segment-wide business intelligence and analytics capabilities. As a member of the CSD Business Intelligence team, the selected candidate will develop and optimize Azure Data Factory pipelines, manage data flows into Snowflake, build functional domain data models across disparate systems, and support advanced data initiatives including integration with Palantir Foundry.

Essential Functions:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows to ingest, transform, and load data into Snowflake from disparate source systems, ensuring reliable and timely data delivery for BI and analytics consumption
  • Develop functional domain data models across multiple business systems ensuring data is structured, consistent, and optimized for reporting and analytical use cases
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and pipeline health through validation rules, reconciliation controls, completeness monitoring, and observability workflows
  • Collaborate with BI Analysts to ensure underlying data models and pipelines support Power BI dashboard and report development

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field or have completed their master's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python and Git for data engineering tasks including scripting, automation, pipeline development, and modern development workflows
  • Experience with Palantir Foundry for data integration, pipeline development, and analytical workflow design
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or Azure Blob Storage for data engineering and pipeline orchestration
  • Knowledge of data governance concepts and familiarity with Microsoft Purview or similar platforms
  • Experience with Power BI semantic model development and familiarity with dbt for data transformation and modeling workflows

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C. area, Denver, or NYC areas is $84,000 - $156,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $73,000 - $136,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
