They typically assist with drafting plans, creating 3D models, conducting research, and preparing project documentation. While they often have a degree in architecture or a related field, they may still be working toward licensure. Architectural Associates gain practical experience under the supervision of licensed architects, helping them develop the skills necessary to advance in the field. Their role is crucial for ensuring projects meet design standards, codes, and client needs.

What does an architectural associate do?

To thrive as an Architectural Associate, you need a solid understanding of architectural design principles, drafting, and building codes, typically supported by a bachelor's degree in architecture or a related field.
