Job description

Project Manager - Science and Technology Interiors (Hybrid)

Location: New Haven, CT

This role is intended for a senior architectural professional supporting complex project delivery within technically demanding environments. The position emphasizes coordination, financial awareness, and collaboration across internal teams and consultants, with ongoing involvement in planning, execution, and quality oversight.

Project work includes a mix of Science & Technology and Corporate Interior environments, requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidence working with multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and coordination support across multiple architectural assignments
  • Oversee administrative and technical coordination efforts in collaboration with senior leadership
  • Contribute to project planning, resourcing, and execution strategies
  • Support development of scopes of service, fee considerations, and work plans
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and staffing in partnership with project leadership
  • Assist with financial tracking, invoicing coordination, and performance reporting
  • Serve as a consistent point of contact for clients and consultants on project coordination matters
  • Support quality control efforts and reinforce project goals related to design and execution
  • Contribute to project review preparation and ongoing performance assessment

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture; registration preferred
  • 10+ years of professional architectural experience
  • Demonstrated experience on technically complex projects, including Science & Technology and Corporate Interiors
  • At least 5 years in a project leadership or coordination-focused role
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities across multiple projects
  • Confident communicator with clients, consultants, and internal teams
  • Proficiency in Revit; experience with project management or specification tools is a plus
