What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors

As a Project Architect on our Architecture team, you will be involved in the design process from start to finish of a project.  This position will be suited to work on a variety of project types and complexities.  Projects at OHM are exciting!  They are unique projects with the singular goal of Advancing Communities. 

You will be working with a team of exceptional architects, engineers, urban designers, and first-class clients on projects that improve the lives of those living in the communities we serve.  Our projects include municipal, K-12 educational campuses, multi-family housing, healthcare, hospitality, residential, and office uses.  We work on exciting mixed-use projects and public-private partnership projects between communities and developers.

Your Responsibilities

Responsible for coordinating a team’s effort to complete projects promptly and successfully.

  • Design and draft project plans and presentations.
  • Develops work plans, schedules, and budgets for PM related to technical tasks of a Scope of Services.
  • Performs quality assurance and quality control of project deliverables as determined by the PM.
  • Meet with clients to determine scope, review plans and presentations, and act as intermediary between client and architectural team.
  • Stays abreast of and maintains expertise in industry-specific standards, codes, permit agency requirements, and community requirements.
  • Possesses a strong understanding of OHM services and relate to our clients’ needs.

Requirements

  • Experience with public or private sector project types.  
  • Knowledge and practical experience in the application of design procedures, practices, and standards.
  • Must be experienced in architectural design, detailing and documentation of new buildings, restoration and renovation projects.
  • Able to assist with business development efforts.
  • Strong leadership, communication, reporting and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
