Rancho de los Caballeros is seeking an enthusiastic, safety-conscious, and guest-focused Archery Instructor to provide memorable archery experiences for guests of all ages and skill levels. The Archery Instructor will lead group and private archery sessions, maintain equipment and range safety standards, and contribute to the welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere of the ranch.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct safe and engaging archery lessons for beginner, intermediate, and advanced participants.
  • Provide clear instruction on archery techniques, equipment use, and range safety.
  • Supervise guests on the archery range and enforce all safety rules and procedures.
  • Set up, inspect, maintain, and store archery equipment and range facilities.
  • Adapt instruction to accommodate varying ages, abilities, and experience levels.
  • Create a fun and encouraging environment that enhances the overall guest experience.
  • Monitor equipment condition and report repair or replacement needs.
  • Maintain accurate attendance and activity records as required.
  • Assist with special events, competitions, demonstrations, or ranch programs.
  • Represent the ranch professionally and provide excellent customer service at all times.

Qualifications
  • Previous archery experience required; instructional experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of archery equipment, techniques, and safety standards.
  • Ability to work with guests of all ages, including children and families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, attentive, and safety-focused in a recreational environment.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Archery certification through a recognized organization is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak guest seasons.
  • Valid Drivers License.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry archery equipment and targets up to 30 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
