An Archdiocese is a major ecclesiastical jurisdiction in the Catholic Church, led by an Archbishop. It typically encompasses a large geographic area that includes several smaller dioceses, known as suffragan dioceses. The Archbishop oversees the spiritual, administrative, and pastoral needs of the archdiocese and has certain responsibilities over the suffragan dioceses in his province. Archdioceses are often found in major cities and hold historical or administrative significance.

These skills and qualities are essential for ensuring effective governance, upholding church values, and supporting the spiritual and operational mission of the Archdiocese.
