Job description

Job Description: Arcadia University invites applications for Adjunct Professors in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology, and Criminal Justice beginning Fall 2026. Teaching assignments are available for one or more sections of courses in cultural anthropology, such as Introduction to Cultural Anthropology and The Family in Cross-Cultural Perspective.

Location: Glenside

Responsibilities: Adjunct Faculty instructors will work closely with the program coordinator to provide instruction regarding basic anthropological concepts in the context of a specific course and Arcadia University's undergraduate curriculum requirements.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates should possess a PhD in Cultural Anthropology, or be nearing completion of their doctoral program. Teaching experience is highly preferred with an emphasis on close faculty-student interaction.
