In this role, you will design, implement, and support GIS solutions for municipal, utility, infrastructure, transportation, and environmental projects.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online and enjoys collaborating with engineers, planners, project managers, and client staff to develop innovative geospatial solutions. This individual is a problem solver with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills who is committed to delivering high-quality work products.

What You'll Do
  • Develop, maintain, and support GIS databases, maps, web applications, and dashboards.
  • Create exhibits, maps, reports, and spatial analyses for engineering, planning, environmental, and utility projects.
  • Configure and maintain ArcGIS Online solutions, including Experience Builder, Field Maps, Survey123, Dashboards, Instant Apps, Hub Sites, and Hosted Feature Layers.
  • Design and configure ArcGIS Online applications for internal staff and public-facing use.
  • Develop asset management and inspection workflows using Field Maps and Survey123.
  • Configure dashboards and reporting tools to support client operational decision-making.
  • Perform data management, QA/QC, geoprocessing, spatial analysis, and data conversion tasks.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate GIS workflows.
  • Create and maintain Arcade expressions for forms, calculations, labels, quality control, and application functionality.
  • Support GIS integrations between ArcGIS platforms and external databases or business systems.
  • Assist with CAD-to-GIS and GIS-to-CAD data conversion projects.
  • Support mobile data collection and GPS/GNSS workflows.
  • Assist clients with GIS training, user support, and implementation of GIS best practices.
  • Maintain organized project files and follow company standards for data management and file organization.
  • Coordinate workload and project schedules with project managers and GIS leadership.
  • Attend client meetings and participate in project planning and technical discussions.
  • Stay current with advancements in GIS technology and industry best practices.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Geospatial Science, Planning, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Two or more years of professional GIS experience.
  • Proficiency with ArcGIS Pro and experience with ArcGIS Online administration and application development.
  • Working knowledge of geodatabases, spatial analysis, cartographic principles, and spatial data management.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with clients and project teams.

Bonus Qualifications
  • Three to five years of professional GIS experience.
  • Experience with ArcGIS Online applications and tools, including Experience Builder, Field Maps, Survey123, Dashboards, Instant Apps, and Hub Sites.
  • Experience with Python scripting, ArcPy workflows, Arcade expressions, SQL, and relational databases.
  • Experience supporting municipal, utility, public works, transportation, stormwater, or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience with GPS/GNSS workflows, CAD/GIS integration, and cloud-based GIS technologies.
