Overview

J2E Technology is seeking a PLM Implementation Engineer I – Associate to join our Product Lifecycle Management team.

This is an entry-level engineering role for someone who wants to build hands-on experience with Aras Innovator, PLM implementation, technical configuration, software development, integrations, testing, and deployment.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation, is eager to learn, and is comfortable working with experienced engineers and solution architects while developing the skills needed to independently support increasingly complex PLM implementation work.

Salary Range: $85,000 – $110,000 annually

Key ResponsibilitiesPLM Configuration and Development

• Support Aras Innovator configuration and technical implementation activities.

• Work with ItemTypes, properties, relationships, forms, lifecycles, workflows, and permissions.

• Read and modify basic AML.

• Support JavaScript and Aras method development.

• Assist with package creation and deployment activities.

Integration and Technical Support

• Support integrations and data-migration efforts.

• Use source-control tools and established development practices.

• Troubleshoot routine application issues.

Testing and Documentation

• Execute technical and functional test cases.

• Document technical changes and test results.

• Participate in code and configuration reviews.

Collaboration and Development

• Work with functional implementation team members to understand customer requirements and business processes.

• Participate in mentoring, technical training, and knowledge-transfer activities.

QualificationsRequired Skills

• Foundational understanding of software-development concepts.

• Interest in PLM, digital engineering, enterprise applications, or Aras Innovator.

• Basic knowledge of one or more of the following:

 o JavaScript

 o C#

 o XML

 o SQL

 o APIs

 o Object-oriented programming

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to learn complex technical systems.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to document work clearly.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a technical team.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience with Aras Innovator or another PLM platform.

• Experience with enterprise application configuration.

• Familiarity with AML.

• Experience with Git or another source-control platform.

• Exposure to APIs, integrations, data migration, or relational databases.

• Experience supporting DoD, federal government, engineering, or configuration-management environments.

A successful Associate PLM Implementation Engineer develops strong Aras fundamentals, safely performs defined technical assignments, learns from peer review, and steadily progresses toward independently owning technical components of customer implementations.
