Supplier Relations Analyst (1962)
Strategic Sourcing Unit - Houston, TX. - Temporary
OVERVIEW:
Assists with providing customer service to proponents in matters related to supplier relations.
SCOPE:
Serves Aramco Americas Company (AACO) and subsidiaries in North America.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
  • Conduct Screenings on new suppliers utilizing Aramco's designated applications.
  • Assists in resolving issues identified by retrieving SRM (Supplier Relations Management) related phone calls and through monitoring the SRM email account. Action any items that requires resolution.
  • Tracks resolution progress and follows up as required.
  • Creates Vendor Identification (VID) SAP numbers.
  • Updates supplier records and reviews errors in process often related to data (i.e., incorrect tax information, address, cost center) and works with appropriate individuals to align data in SAP and SRM.
  • Assists others with background and due diligence checks.
  • Supports IKTVA supplier forums and Aramco's Exhibit Booth by, but not limited to, answering questions regarding supplier registration and onboarding.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in business, finance, operations management or closely related field of study preferred.
  • Obtains one certification within one year of assignment: Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) by the Compliance Certification Board; Supplier Relationship Management Expert (SRME); Supplier Relationship Management Associate (SRMA); Supplier Relationship Management Practitioner (SRMP) by International Association for Contract & Commercial Management (IACCM).
  • Must be able to utilize internet search tools and industry resources to obtain supplier data.
  • Ability to develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills.
  • Strong decision making/problem solving, and influencing skills are required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with business software applications.
  • Typically, at least two (2) years of oil and gas supplier relations experience.
  • Experience with SAP SRM module or similar SRM is essential.
  • Must be able to comprehend and communicate accurately, clearly and concisely in English.
