JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Lead financial reporting, settlements, and tax at Aramco Trading Company regional office. Oversee financial statement preparation, settlement operations, tax reporting, and monthly closing activities. Ensure compliance, integrity of financial data, and implement quality controls. Drive performance improvement for enhanced organizational outcomes.
Financial Reporting Oversight
  • Oversee the monthly closing process ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Oversee quarterly and annual financial statement preparation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Lead external and internal audit/review engagements, including resolution of findings.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and group accounting policies.
  • Review accounting of significant and unusual transactions, including preparation of accounting paper if needed.

Settlement Oversight
  • Oversee the daily operations of the settlement functions, ensuring timely settlement of invoices and resolution of disputes and issues.
  • Drive process improvements to improve efficiency and effectiveness of internal controls within the settlement function.

Tax Oversight
  • Oversee the operations of the tax unit ensuring adherence to tax regulations.
