Role and Responsibilities
  1. Aide to help bilingual and regular education students in the English Language Arts: Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. (Spanish Speaking)
  2. Supervise students before and after class/lunch.
  3. Keep records as required by the program.
  4. Perform other duties as requested by the building administrator or designee.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. Must meet the Highly Qualified Standards for Paraprofessionals as defined by No Child Left Behind
    1. Minimum of 60 credit hours or associate's degree from accredited college.
    2. Passing score on state approved assessment.
  3. Oral proficiency in English and at least one other language. (Preferable Arabic)
  4. Previous experience working with school aged children in an educational setting preferred
