Job Description
Atlantic Restaurant & Supermarket Equipment is a leading supplier of commercial restaurant and supermarket equipment. Based in Kearny, NJ, we operate from a 50,000 sq. ft. warehouse and showroom serving restaurants, supermarkets, and foodservice operators throughout the region.
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales Representative to develop new business and manage customer relationships throughout Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island, NY. Fluency in Arabic is required.
This is a field-based position focused on visiting customers, identifying opportunities, recommending equipment solutions, and closing sales. The ideal candidate has experience in the restaurant, supermarket, or foodservice industry and is comfortable developing new accounts and building long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop new business and expand Atlantic's customer base throughout Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island
  • Conduct regular in-person visits to restaurants, supermarkets, grocery stores, delis, bakeries, and other foodservice businesses
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with business owners, operators, contractors, and other decision-makers
  • Identify new equipment, refrigeration, walk-in cooler/freezer, renovation, and new-store opportunities
  • Work with customers to understand their operational needs and develop complete equipment solutions
  • Prepare quotations, follow up on proposals, negotiate, and close orders
  • Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through final delivery and installation coordination
  • Maintain an active pipeline of prospects and consistently follow up on open opportunities
  • Coordinate closely with our inside sales, project, and operations teams to ensure successful execution
  • Meet established sales and gross-profit targets
Qualifications
  • Fluent Arabic required
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years of outside sales, equipment sales, or related sales experience preferred
  • Experience in the restaurant, supermarket, foodservice, refrigeration, or commercial equipment industry is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the Brooklyn, Queens, and Long Island markets
  • Proven ability to develop new accounts and close sales
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field
  • Valid driver's license required.
