Job description

BlueForce Inc. is seeking an Information Technology (IT) Technician in support of the DoD English Language Training Program in Saudi Arabia.

*Position subject to availability *

The Information Technology Technician (ITT) will provide comprehensive technical support to program operations. The ITT will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of all technical requirements related to the various programs used for instruction, exercises, and testing.

General Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Support all technical requirements for program operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during program delivery.
  • Collaborate with instructional staff and others key players to identify and address technical support needs and requirements.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation such as system configurations, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals. 
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols and data privacy regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be able to support all technical requirements for program support.
  • Possess technical knowledge on programs used for instruction, exercises, and testing.
  • Be able to provide troubleshooting for hardware ussies for computers, smart screens, server stacks, and audio testing equipment.
  • Must speak intermediate English and intermediate Arabic, able to communicate technical requirements and effectively work with support staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess a relevant certification or degree in a field related to technical support such as IT, Computer Science, or related disciplines is preferred.
  • At least three (3) years of demonstrated experience within the field of technical support, preferably in an educational or training environment.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure, hardware configurations, and software applications is preferred.
