Job description

Back to Basics Learning Dynamics is seeking interpreters to interpret for IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, mental health evaluations, etc. Interpreters must have daytime availability. This job is Part-time and has flexible hours.
Language needed:
Haitian Creole- Immediate need
Location:
Wilmington, DE area - IN-PERSON
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • It is preferred that candidates possess documentation to show proficiency in languages other than English. If documentation is not available, candidates might be asked to complete a proficiency test.
  • Candidates MUST have at least 1 year of professional interpreting experience on their resume. Language proficiency alone is NOT sufficient. Volunteer interpreting for a school or church, or interpreting for family/friends is NOT sufficient.
  • Must be willing to get a background check, including Federal, State, and Child Abuse Registry
  • Must have reliable transportation to get to job assignment.
  • Must be comfortable with using a computer, phone apps, or tablet for job input.
