Job Summary:
ETalentNetwork is seeking an EBS Developer to design and develop technical solutions that meet business requirements. The role involves understanding integration requirements, providing technical specifications, and performing problem analysis while coordinating with team members on solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop technical solutions that meet business requirements based on functional designs and provide recommendations on the nature, scope, and complexity of solutions.
• Understand the 'HIGLAS – GO.gov' integration requirements by initially reviewing documentation.
• Understand and translate the existing interface logic and apply it to the new Webservices design.
• Provide technical specifications, unit test plans and installation plans for the new integration.
• Verification of feasibility of Business User's request functionality and business rules based on existing technical systems and data model.
• Perform integrations with EBS using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) / REST based Webservices.
• Promote the code in accordance with the development tools used for higher instances.
• Perform problem analysis, coding, unit testing and debugging
• Coordinate with team members to work on solutions and perform design/code reviews
• Develop database structures, interfaces between internal and external systems
• Assist the development team to support initiatives outside of 'HIGLAS – GO.gov' integration.
• Support all technical activities and follow the processes outlined to follow approved agile approach.
• Produce all work products and deliverables with quality and on schedule.
• Support defect resolution and provide postproduction support on the integration.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R11i and R12 primarily in the following Oracle Financials (GL, AP, AR, PO, Cash Management, Payments).
• Experience with Oracle R12 E-Business Suite in Oracle Projects module.
• Experience in development of all aspects of RICE objects.
• Experience in design and development of workflows.
• Experience in design and development of complex Oracle Forms and Reports.
• Experience with Oracle SOA Suite.
• Experience with Unix/Linux Shell scripts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, software library control and editing products.
• Experience in Oracle SQL & PL/SQL skills, Oracle Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, SQL *Loader including performance tuning.
• Good organizational and follow-up skills and ability to meet time sensitive deadlines.
• Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions and exercise good judgment.
• Requires ability to pass CMS background check and meet the residency requirement for having resided in the US at least (3) three out of the last (5) five years.
• BS or equivalent + 14 years related experience, or MS + 12 years related experience.
• Oracle Federal Financials FV, GL, AP, AR, PO – at least 8 years.
• Knowledge of basic Oracle SQL / PL-SQL – ability to write simple queries using TOAD.
• Previous production support experience; ideally in 24x6 rotation.
Preferred:
• Knowledge of Oracle SOA is a plus.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Tool is a plus.
• Knowledge of other tools – Gitlab and Config snapshot is preferred.
• Java programming language.
• Experience in a Federal environment.
• HIGLAS, UFMS or NIH knowledge is preferred.
