L'agent methodes - outillage travaillera en collaboration avec le departement de production, le groupe de soutien aux methodes et le departement d'ingenierie. Son role principal sera d'analyser les demandes d'outillage afin de trouver des solutions technologiques qui amelioreront les performances d'assemblage.

The Tooling Methods Agent will work closely with the Production, Manufacturing Methods Support, and Engineering departments. The primary responsibility of this role is to analyze tooling requests and develop technological solutions that improve assembly efficiency and performance.

LES TACHES QUE VOUS ALLEZ ACCOMPLIR

  • Mettre a jour et coordonner les echeanciers et les informations des differentes demandes d'outillages / projets et informer les parties impliquees
  • Participer, avec les concepteurs d'outils, a la definition des concepts d'outils
  • Emettre des instructions de commande pour permettre aux fournisseurs internes & externes de fabriquer des outils selon les conceptions donnees
  • Gerer et suivre des couts des projets
  • Accompagner et supporter les fournisseurs internes & externes lors de la fabrication de l'outillage
  • Inspecter les outillages pour s'assurer de leur conformite aux dessins avant livraison en production et soutenir les operations lors du premier essai des gabarits

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Update and coordinate schedules and information related to various tooling requests and projects and communicate progress to all stakeholders.
  • Participate with tooling designers in defining tooling concepts.
  • Issue purchase/work orders to enable internal and external suppliers to manufacture tooling according to the approved designs.
  • Manage and monitor project costs.
  • Support and coordinate with internal and external suppliers throughout the tooling manufacturing process.
  • Inspect tooling to ensure compliance with engineering drawings prior to release to production and support production operations during the first trial of jigs and fixtures.

Requirements

VOTRE PROFIL EST ESSENTIEL A NOTRE REUSSITE

  • DEC en genie mecanique ou en aeronautique ou experience equivalent;
  • 5 ans d'experience dans un environnement manufacturier
  • 5 ans d'experience en tant qu'agent methodes
  • Connaissance Catia V5 et/ou NX (atout)
  • Maitrise de la langue francaise et bonne utilisation de la langue anglaise (fournisseurs anglophones)
  • Experience manuelle dans le domaine de l'outillage specialise

YOUR PROFILE IS ESSENTIAL TO OUR SUCCESS

  • DEC (College Diploma) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Methods Agent / Manufacturing Methods Technician.
  • Knowledge of CATIA V5 and/or Siemens NX is considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in French and good working knowledge of English (to communicate with English-speaking suppliers).
  • Hands-on experience with specialized tooling.
