Apriso specialists may work as developers, consultants, or analysts, depending on the company's needs. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, database management, and programming languages like SQL or .NET is often required.

What skills do you need to be an Apriso developer?

An Apriso developer needs strong knowledge of manufacturing execution systems (MES), experience with Apriso platform and related technologies, and proficiency in programming languages such as Java, SQL, or .NET. Familiarity with business process analysis, system integration, and troubleshooting is also important for effective development and support.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Apriso position, and why are they important?

Familiarity with Dassault Systèmes' Apriso MES software, SQL, .NET programming, and experience with manufacturing execution systems are key technical requirements. Strong problem-solving, effective communication, and collaboration skills are important for working with cross-functional teams and troubleshooting complex systems. These competencies ensure successful implementation and support of manufacturing IT solutions that drive efficiency and quality.

What does a typical day look like for someone working with Apriso MES systems?

A typical day for an Apriso MES professional involves collaborating with manufacturing engineers, IT teams, and production staff to design, configure, and troubleshoot manufacturing processes within the Apriso platform. You may spend time translating business requirements into system specifications, developing and testing customizations, and supporting end-users with technical issues. Regular tasks also include monitoring system performance, generating reports, and implementing process improvements. Since the role often bridges IT and manufacturing, strong communication and project management skills are valuable for coordinating stakeholders and ensuring smooth operations.
