JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Responsibilities


Ensure product and process quality by maintaining workmanship standards and
adhering to quality program requirements
Analyze data from customer feedback, internal defects, and supplier performance toidentify quality trends and issues
Lead cross-functional teams (engineering, production, purchasing, etc.) to investigateand resolve quality concerns
Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address
nonconformances
Drive defect reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
Develop, review, and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, testprocedures, and work instructions
Ensure all special characteristics are identified and properly managed within controlplans
Define and implement process controls, including data collection, monitoring, andanalysis methods
Evaluate nonconforming materials and initiate supplier containment and correctiveactions
Manage supplier quality performance for assigned suppliers
Determine requirements for incoming inspections and maintain related proceduresand documentation
Establish and maintain quality standards, boundary samples, and appearance mastersamples
Ensure all process and product changes meet customer requirements and are
properly documented and approved
Notify management of quality issues and nonconforming products in a timely manner
Ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, including IATF 16949 (TS-16949)and internal systems


Qualifications & Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field preferred
Experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment
(automotive preferred)
Strong knowledge of quality systems and standards, including IATF 16949 (TS-16949)
Experience with root cause analysis tools (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive corrective actions
Experience with control plans, PFMEA, and process validation
Knowledge of supplier quality management and incoming inspection processes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment


Preferred Skills


Experience with quality tools such as Minitab or similar statistical analysis software
Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and other automotive core tools
Continuous improvement mindset with Lean or Six Sigma experien
