Job Description Quality Manager - Statesville, NC Summary/Objectives: The quality manager position along with the quality engineering manager in MI to develop, administer and maintain quality procedures and activities required to continually ensure that the company's processes and products are following applicable regulations and quality standards of both the company and customer requirements. This position also provides quality systems support, development, training and continuous improvement of QMS Software programs this also includes AIM (Dashboards), etc for both facilities. Essential Functions: Promote and execute quality standards, policies and procedures, test methodology, and quality plans Create, modify and analyze manufacturing processes to identify quality problems, root cause, recommend corrective actions, and improve methods Maintains and improves product quality by leading continuous improvement activities Monitor needs of Quality Assurance employees, provide management and direction as needed to meet company and customer goals.

Hold monthly 1:1 meetings with key quality staff to review current performance and establish smart goals to meet our QMS objective. Communicate concerns and roadblocks with Corporate Quality/Engineering Manager. Manage and maintain relationships through effective communication and dialogue with all Departments.

Set quality standards as per customer specific requirements for our North Carolinas product/processes. This includes performance in all areas of processing, production, and detail/final inspection. Review customer specific requirements and change requests to ensure that the necessary criteria and provisions are included in quality and process plans.

Function as primary liaison for all quality programs. Participate in quote feasibility reviews as the key APQP Team Member. Provide support for APQP process development in the areas of statistical techniques, PPAP, MSA, APQP, Prototype or sample runs, gaging, training, and testing relating to the quality department.

Manage document control processes at the North Carolina facility for all QMS Documents and Quality Records. Work with the Corporate Quality/Engineering Manager on those corporate processes that may be impacted. Perform internal audits, manage North Carolina internal auditors to ensure daily audits and PASUM Audits are completed, all processes and shifts are covered and any open action from audit are closed out in a timely manner.

Ensure quality standards for all processing/production operations affecting product quality are in place - work with teams to ensure SOWI's and or details on routers/control plans are developed. Document, monitor and report key performances by gathering relevant data, as well as produce statistical reports. Delegate KPIs to Quality Staff, monitor updated on time for monthly reporting to management.

Help in the management and development of key systems to our Quality Management System this includes Soft Expert, AIM, AIM Dashboards, etc. Development, Configuration, Implementation, update to QMS Documents, and training of processes. Work with Management team to prioritize system implementations and training programs.

Work with IT to assign responsibilities in order to eliminate duplication of efforts.
