Job description

Concrete Foreman

Maple Reinders is seeking an experienced Concrete Foreman to lead field crews and oversee day‑to‑day concrete operations for projects in Bradford, Wasaga Beach and surrounding areas. This role is responsible for safe, efficient, and high‑quality execution of concrete work while meeting project schedules, productivity targets, and safety standards. The Foreman is hands‑on, leads by example, and is accountable for both individual and crew performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead concrete crews in daily field operations
  • Plan and coordinate formwork, concrete placement, and work sequencing
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
  • Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and to quality standards
  • Enforce company safety policies and participate in daily safety meetings
  • Monitor productivity, labour usage, and workmanship
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and other trades
  • Complete accurate timesheets and ensure proper cost coding
  • Oversee proper use of tools, equipment, and materials

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of concrete construction experience
  • Previous Lead Hand or Foreman experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of concrete forming, placement, and finishing
  • Ability to perform layout, verify elevations, and maintain tolerances
  • Heavy civil or infrastructure experience is an asset

Working Conditions

  • Field‑based role in active construction environments
  • Physically demanding work in varying weather conditions
  • Travel may be required depending on project location
