At Charter Casting, our maintenance team is the backbone of our operation, keeping everything running smoothly. They tackle a variety of challenges, from installing and maintaining equipment to troubleshooting complex problems and executing preventive maintenance plans.

What you would do:

  • Troubleshoot & repair plant electrical systems

  • Assist with installation & maintenance of motors, control panels, power distribution systems, and production machinery

  • Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

  • Use testing equipment and meters to diagnose electrical issues

  • Follow all safety and environmental procedures

  • Frequent standing & walking. Lifting, push/pulling 60-100lbs

What you bring:

  • High School Diploma or GED, preferred completion of apprenticeship, journeyman, master electrician

  • PLC troubleshooting or programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.).

  • Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems knowledge.

  • Forklift, crane, or industrial manufacturing experience.

  • Foundry experience is a plus.
