Job description

We are a private, non-union construction company based in Ottawa, specializing in high-performance residential projects. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your carpentry skills under the guidance of experienced professionals in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.


Minimum 2 years field experience required.


Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Assist experienced carpenters in various construction tasks, including demolition, framing, window and door installation, siding, insulation, drywall, flooring, and cabinetry
  • Learn to read and interpret construction plans accurately
  • Aid in material take-offs and ordering
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient project execution
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills through on-the-job training
