Job description

Crystal Finishing Systems located in the town of Mosinee, WI has an opportunity in our Extrusion department as a Stretcher. This Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am role plays a critical factor in our success.

Our services include aluminum extrusion, fabrication, architectural and industrial finishes, and more.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Operates the head stretcher to straighten and prepare material for the finishing saw.
  • Communicate with tail stretcher for best method to stretch metal and avoid damage.
  • Continuously inspects material for any non-conforming issues.
  • Use proper gages when stretching.
  • Assist with simple maintenance and repair on the presses.
  • Operates table controls to move material.

WHO YOU ARE 

  • Knowledge of production operations and experience in a manufacturing environment beneficial.
  • Previous work experience on an extrusion press is preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to read and operate a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer helpful.  
  • Entry level computer experience useful.
