Sisters of Divine Providence is seeking a compassionate, experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team as a Full-Time Weekend RN Manager at St. Joseph?s Center in Allison Park, PA. This position works a Friday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule with 12-hour shifts, providing consistent clinical leadership and support during the weekend.

The Weekend RN Manager serves as a key clinical leader, ensuring quality resident care, supporting nursing staff, and providing guidance and decision-making during weekend operations. This role offers the opportunity to combine hands-on nursing expertise with leadership, mentoring, and collaboration in a mission-driven environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight and leadership to nursing staff during weekend operations.
  • Complete resident assessments, monitor changes in condition, and collaborate with providers to ensure appropriate care.
  • Communicate with physicians, healthcare providers, and team members regarding resident needs and treatment plans.
  • Serve as a resource for nursing staff by providing guidance, mentoring, and clinical support.
  • Assist with complex clinical needs, including difficult IV starts, assessments, treatments, and emergency situations.
  • Respond to urgent resident care needs and make appropriate clinical decisions in emergency situations.
  • Promote quality assurance by monitoring care practices, documentation, and compliance with nursing standards.
  • Address and help resolve staff concerns, promote teamwork, and support a positive work environment.
  • Assist with resident and family concerns by providing communication, support, and follow-up as needed.
  • Support safe, compassionate, person-centered care that promotes dignity and respect for each resident.
  • Complete required documentation and ensure continuity of care between shifts and departments.
